Five people showed up for our walk at Sleeping Turtles (Koch). We had to change our route because the normal "Walk Around The Lake" was mostly under water. We found the new walk was interesting and saw a large number of both summertime and autumn plants. We didn't see as many autumn plants as we expected but did see a few Paint Brushes (Carphephorus corymbosus) and Vanilla Plants (Carphephorus odoratissima). We also noted a cluster of Tievine Morning Glories (Ipomoea cordatotriloba) that we had never noticed there before.
Although we tried to avoid water, the last half mile or so was through ankle and knee-high water.
