Sources for native plants for your garden can come in many forms.  Friends, the Native Plant Society raffles and sales, and Native Plant Nurseries like those listed below.  There are important questions to ask of any of these sources.  Is the propagation source (seeds, cuttings, etc.) local?  Is it the endemic variety or subspecies found in this area?  Is this plant actually found in our area or is it native to other parts of the state?  Don't be afraid to ask these questions, our natural areas may depend on it!
