Tuesday, December 9, 1:00 PM.  The Mangrove Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society invites you to join us for our monthly program at Lemon Bay Park and Environmental Center, 570 Bay Park Blvd., Englewood. Jen Rudolph, Sarasota County Neighborhood Environmental Stewardship Coordinator, will discuss the Rain Check Program. The initiative is a rebate incentive program “designed to encourage homeowners to install specialized small-scale Best Management Practice (BMPs) that improve water quality and increase stormwater infiltration which protect our valuable water resources.” Come early for social time-bring your packed lunch (12:15pm).
