Saturday November 16. 9:00-11:00 AM Join Dr. Bill Dunson from the Mangrove Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society for a nature walk at Charlotte Flatwoods Environmental Park, 15801 Tamiami Trail, Punta Gorda, 33955. This park is 487 acres of pine flatwoods, dry prairie, depressional marsh wetlands, and a constructed permanent freshwater pond.   We will be walking along an approximately 1.9-mile loop with uneven surface in places.  The parking area along the western side of US 41 is about 5 miles south of Tuckers Grade and just north of Zemel Rd.  This event is free, and all are welcome.
